Here for you – every step of the way

The team at Lough Memorials is here to help you create a lasting tribute to your loved one—one that honors your budget while reflecting the craftsmanship and care families have trusted for over 150 years.

Meet the Team

  • Geoff Lough

    OWNER

Owner Geoff grew up in the business, watching his parents run the memorial business while growing up in Eldersburg. From an early age, he was drawn to the artistry of stone and the meaningful role it plays in honoring someone you love. That early appreciation shaped his commitment to quality craftsmanship and caring for the families who place their trust in us.

After living in downtown Frederick for many years, Geoff and his wife recently chose a quieter life in Middletown. An avid cyclist who loves the winding backroads of Frederick County, you’ve probably passed him once or twice. While his racing days are mostly behind him, he still values the camaraderie of his cycling community. When he’s not on his bike, you can find him cheering on the Ravens and Orioles or enjoying backyard landscaping. He loves designing with marble and granite as focal points in his garden.

  • Jan Trail

    OFFICE MANAGER

Jan is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse at Lough Memorials. From managing the financials to making sure every customer is well cared for, she handles all the moving parts that keep things running smoothly day in and day out.

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her tackling a home improvement project or out in the garden—bringing the same care and attention to detail to her own home that she brings to our team every day.

  • Jack Felton

    DIRECTOR OF SALES

After many years serving as a Postmaster, Jack brings his genuine passion for helping others to his role at Lough Memorials. He understands both the deep importance of remembrance for families and the practical considerations of quality and budget. Jack works closely with each family to ensure the monument they select is a meaningful and lasting reflection of their loved one’s life.

An avid gym-goer, Jack is a proud father of two grown children and has been married to his wife, Jackie, for 32 years. Outside of work, he enjoys watching college football—especially cheering on Yale, where his son played and graduated—though he’s also a loyal Commanders fan.
